- Hardware Requirements:
-
- Test yourself: If the free Shareware-demo is running without
- problems, the registered
- full-version will do so, too.
- You need a computer with Windows95 and an installed version
- of DirectX 3.0 or better.
- Your display adapter must support HiColor (16-bit colors) to
- run the game.
- The Shareware can be started from harddisk or CD-ROM, but
- Highscores are not
- saved on CD. The registration needs an installed version of
- the game on your harddisk.
- The font Comic Sans MS should be installed for correct texts
- in the game.
- To enjoy sound and music of the game you need a
- DirectSound-compatible soundcard
- (not a needed to run the game!).
-
-
-
- The Sharewareversion:
-
- The unregistriered shareware contains only the first 12
- training-courses of all 36 in the
- full-version! Also the multiplayer-game can only be played
- with 2 players at one
- computer!
- You can get further information how to order the full
- version from the other texts supplied
- with the game.
-
-
-
- The Game:
-
- After loading the game shows you its game-start-menu. Here
- you can start a new game,
- change options, view informations or leave to Windows again.
- Choose an option with
- the mouse or the cursorkeys and RETURN or SPACE.
-
- The singleplayer-game can be played either on the
- training-ground or at the
- standard-courses. Where the game will be played can be
- chosen in the options-menu.
- To play more than the first six courses at the
- training-ground your number of strokes
- must stay below a certain limit.
- The standard-courses can be played each after another - like
- a normal miniature-golf
- game. If you are good enough you can get an entry in the
- highscore-table of the game.
-
- A multiplayer-game can be played with more than one player
- at one computer or with a
- Windows95-network. The game is played - just like a
- singeplayer-game - on the
- training-course or the standard-course.
- In a game at one computer every player enters his name and
- then plays the game in the
- same order.
- To start a network-game the first player must create a new
- game and all other players
- then join. Every player plays his course and then waits
- until the course is completed by
- all others (at their own computer). The game then is
- continued at the next course ...
- The next courses at the training-ground can only be played
- if everyone stays below the
- stroke-limit.
-
- In the game you first put down the ball at the white
- start-field. Then the shots are done
- with the left mousebutton and the mousecursor-cross. The
- ball is then rolling around the
- course. After putting the ball in the hole the game is
- continued at the next course. If you
- need more than 6 (9 in the easy game') strokes you must jump
- to the next course.
- With ESC or the right mousebutton you can see the actual
- standings and quit the game
- (not in the network-game!).
- Further information can be obtained with the F1-key.
-
- In the Options-Dialog you can change between the two
- game-modes (with their 18
- courses) training or standard. You can also make the game
- easier or much more
- difficult.
- Soundeffects and music can be turned on and off and the
- fading od the
- Knuddel-dialogues can be changed. The last point is the
- multiplayer game. Here you
- can switch between network- or one-computer-game.
-
- To read the dialogues faster just hold the left mousebutton
- down, to abort them, hold
- the right button pressed.
-
-
-
- Tips:
-
- Here we have a few tips for all players of the game:
-
- Do not only shoot the ball around like crazy. Shot
- indirect and after some thinking!
-
- Every course can be solved with one shot - but for this
- one you need much
- training, concentration and sometimes a bit luck.
-
- To continue with the next two courses at the
- training-ground you must stay under a
- limit of 2.5 (easy-game: 3.5) shots for every course as
- an average.
-
- Have some fun and use psycho-tricks and violence to win
- your multiplayer-game
- at one computer!
-
- Do not let your opponents have any influence your
- shots!
-
- Have fun!
-
-
-
- Technical Problems?
-
- You need Direct X 3.0 or better installed on your system! If
- you get messages like
- 'Missing link to DLL ...' you should install DirectX. You
- can get it from
- http://www.microsoft.com/directx , our homepage
- http://www.sharedirect.com
- (Downloads - DirectX) or from many actual CDs. If other
- problems (especcially with
- sound or music) appear, you should try to disable your
- MIDI-Output in the
- Multimedia-Control of Windows95. Problems with the Gravis
- Ultrasound Classic are
- known.
-
- You start and play this program at your own risk. We are not
- responsible for any
- damage on you or your computer produced by starting and
- running this game.

-
- This software is based in part on the work of the
- Independent JPEG Group.
- Thanks go to WATCOM for their C++ compiler and Microsoft for
- Windows 95 and DirectX.
- All graphics in this game are raytraced with 'Reflections'
- from Oberland Computer.
- Thanks also going to Tobias Lenz for betatests and more.
- To keep the game small enough (5 MB are not very small,
- huh?) for internet-downloaders we did
- not contain huge animations and orchestral music. If you
- want that you should think about buying a
- new DVD-player :-)
